90 Minutes In Heaven

"90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper was a read inspired by Heaven is For Real. I wanted to compare accounts of people who have been to heaven, to see if they match up. I'm trying to get an idea of whether or not heaven is the same for everyone or is different to each person. 

This true account is not as good as "Heaven is for Real" in my personal opinion but, it is a meaningful story none the less. Don Piper was hit by a semi-truck head on on a bridge and was announced dead at the scene. A man wait in traffic felt like God told him to go pray for Don. So, this man crawled into the destroyed car and prayed and sang over this so called dead man. Miraculously, Don's heart started beating again and he came back to life 90 minutes later. The beginning where Don tells his experiences in heaven is wonderful but, the story gets pretty repetitive until the last two chapters. If you are interested at all in hearing about what heaven might be like I recommend this book. Even if you only read the beginning and end, read it.

Today was so wonderful! Alec and I went for a long drive in search of yard sales, then to taco bell and the lake. We even got matching water shoes. Then, we weeded my garden and transplanted some flowers. We even picked wild flowers for my room on a walk. And I got to finish a book. Just a wonderful, beautiful day. I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend, too!
