My mother and I had a table at my very first craft bazaar last week! I know, I know. You are all probably wondering where in the world I have been and what has been going on. Well, I have been sleeping a little, going to class, studying my life away, then heading off to work non-stop for weeks. It has been exhausting and this mini-vacation to a craft bazaar with my favorite lady was exactly what I needed.
We didn't really sell anything at all. Not many people even showed up to the bazaar. We did sell a few of these little candy sleighs, though.
My aunt made this little, wooden ornaments.
I absolutely love these cupcake ornaments. Especially in the bakers boxes my mom picked up for them.
The crocheted headband on the bottom is especially important because it was my roommate Amy's very first crochet project! These are the same headbands from this post.
I love this picture of my mother because I think it represents her perfectly. When I think of my mom, this is the exact image I picture. Here sitting there crocheting with a huge smile on her face.
My mom bought this sign at the bazaar. It is perfect for her and I'm so glad she decided to get it.
The only thing I bought was this plastic bag holder. I know that I'm probably the only 19 year old who saw a crocheted plastic bag holder and just HAD to have it. It was only 7 dollars, though! This would have taken me hours if I wanted to make it myself. Unfortunately, my roommates don't seem to be as fond of it as I am. They have resorted to calling it "Aunt Jemima" and turning it around at night so it faces the wall and doesn't "scare anyone". I still love it, though.
Overall, the craft bazaar was a great chance to spend time with my family and take a little break from school. I definitely want to do it again.
Sorry not many people showed up at your craft bazarre but it sounds like you had fun anyway. The cupcake ornaments are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSorry the craft bizarre didn't go better but sounds like it was fun for you anyway. Just found your blog and looks like you have some great ideas! I'll have to visit your blog more in the future!
