Merry Christmas, everyone!
Thank you to everyone who linked up with November's Recipe Writers. We had lots of wonderful recipes to choose from.
This pumpkin soup from A New York Foodie sounds delicious!
What about this Spiked Warm Mulled Cider from Sweet Love and Ginger?
Now it is time for this month's theme:
Christmas Cookies !
December is my favorite month to bake. There are endless Christmas cookie recipes to choose from and they all seem so tasty! I remember always getting plates of cookies from my family members filled with several cookie types and flavors. These Christmas cookie plates were so colorful and creating a colorful cookie display is one of my favorite parts of the season. I have some great cookie recipes in my cook books and can't wait to see what your family favorite's are.
Here is how Recipe Writers works:
On the first of every month we will introduce a new theme and all share our recipes here. The link party will open on the first of every month and close on the last day. This way you will have time to share a recipe before and after the holiday (if there is one) so others can try it, check out other recipes to try yourself and impress your family and friends with the delicious flavors of the season. For example, last month we had Thanksgiving favorites and next month will be healthy recipes for the new year!
Co-hosts:
Amanda Rose from Sew Much 2 Say
Martha from Quick Cheap and Pretty
Rachel from Can't Google Everything
Remember, this link up is open until the end of the month and we will have a new one next month starting on the 1st. Don't forget to check in next month to see if your recipe was featured.
So, what are you waiting for?
Make your favorite Christmas cookie (or dessert) recipes, blog about it and share your favorite holiday recipes with us!

Next year, I'll make some gingerbread rabbis and post pictures. This year, Chanukkah is almost over and I lack the energy to make several hundred cookies so soon after Thanksgiving.
