Last month's recipes were fabulous. They inspired us all to eat healthy (if we actually ate healthy throughout the entire month is a different story entirely) and showed us how to combine ingredients in new ways. Did you try Kale, Quinoa and Sweet Potato soup from Martha, Jenn's ideas for Spaghetti Squash or Kelly's Protein Nut Butter Balls?
Yum. Just, yum.
Valentine's Day Goodies
I made Alec this little gift for our first Valentine's Day 3 years ago, and it was also my very first blog post! Check out the D.I.Y here.
Valentine's Day is a great holiday in my opinion. And if you don't like it, you still have an excuse to eat a lot of chocolate. Valentine's Day is a great time for chocolate, romantic dinners for two and decadent desserts. I couldn't pick just one topic, so the theme is any recipe for Valentine's Day. It might be a perfect meal to cook for just you and your significant other, a
bad-for-you but oh-so-good dessert or cupcakes with little hearts on them.
Whatever you have to share, I'm excited to see.
Here is how Recipe Writers works:
At the beginning of every month we will introduce a new theme and all share our recipes here. The link party will close on the last day of the month. This way you will have time to share a recipe before and after the holiday (if there is one) so others can try it, check out other recipes to try yourself and impress your family and friends with the delicious flavors of the season. For example, November was Thanksgiving Favorites, December was Christmas Cookies and January was Healthy Eating!
Co-hosts:
Amanda Rose from Sew Much 2 Say
Martha from Quick Cheap and Pretty
Rachel from Can't Google Everything
Remember, this link up is open until the end of the month and we will have a new one next month starting on the 1st. Don't forget to check in next month to see if your recipe was featured.
So, what are you waiting for?
Make your favorite healthy recipes, blog about it and share them with us!

I didn't have much of anything sweet or treatlike so I added my Valentines Day Menu post, it has some deserts in it.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I kind of like receiving sweets more than making them... :)
