Well, It is March already. Can you believe it? Me either.
Last month we celebrated love, romance and all thinks pink and red. We enjoyed decadent chocolate on more days last month than we'd like to admit, I'm sure. I encourage you to check out these Nutella Filled Crescent Hearts, Rachel's Heart Shaped Fudge and these Chocolate Covered Cherries. I'm sure you'll want to add them to your recipe collection after you look them over.
St. Patrick's Day Snacks
I almost forgot! I have very exciting news this month. The past few months we have been testing out Recipe Writers and getting it up and running. It turns out that you guys enjoy it as much as I do! I really think we will all enjoy it just a tad bit more if we could see the delicious recipes we have all been raving about...so, we now have photo links! I can't wait to see what you all have to share!
Here is how Recipe Writers works:
At the beginning of every month we will introduce a new theme and all share our recipes here. The link party will close on the last day of the month. This way you will have time to share a recipe before and after the holiday (if there is one) so others can try it, check out other recipes to try yourself and impress your family and friends with the delicious flavors of the season. For example, November was Thanksgiving Favorites, December was Christmas Cookies and January was Healthy Eating!
Co-hosts:
Amanda Rose from Sew Much 2 Say
Martha from Quick Cheap and Pretty
Rachel from Can't Google Everything
Remember, this link up is open until the end of the month and we will have a new one next month starting on the 1st. Don't forget to check in next month to see if your recipe was featured.
So, what are you waiting for?
Make your favorite St. Paddy's Day recipes, blog about it and share them with us!

A friend showed me how to make soup from scratch a few weeks ago, and I'd like to try it myself. I know you're very, very, very busy, but if you see this in the next couple of days, would you tell me what you think of these ingredients?
ReplyDeletechicken carcass for stock
salt and pepper
rice
tomatillos
a yellow onion (or red?)
a potato (or maybe a sweet potato?)
green chiles
chicken
a couple of jalapeƱos or serranos
garlic
some of the veggies hanging out in my fridge (carrots, celery, spinach)
What are your expert thoughts?
That's an awesome green colored St. Patrick day cake. I really like it. It's good to have occasion one after another because it keeps people up to do fun with friends and family. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMy friend would love this post. She's Irish by way of Jamaica! Forwarding!
