Perfect Products for a Woman On The Go

Influenster sent me another VoxBox. This one, The GoVoxBox, was packed with so many goodies I was amazed at how many amazing products that they stuffed into one box!

I know it has taken me a while to post on this lovely box, but I've been a busy lady. I have been thoroughly testing and enjoying all of the products, though.

The first item is the PROFOOT Pedi-Rock. It is soft and squishy to touch, but removes calluses completely. It works if your feet are dry OR wet, which you can't say about most foot scrubs. This is a great product to keep your feet smooth for summer while still being able to walk barefoot wherever you'd like. I also received a pair of PROFOOT triad orthotic insoles for my sneakers. I especially like how they don't run the full size of my foot, only the back portion. They offer additional support without being too bulky inside your sneakers. If you haven't used orthotic insoles before, I suggest you go get some now!

Next up are Blue Diamond Fruit Flavored Almonds. I was a little skeptical at first. Blueberry almonds? Sounds interesting..right? Well, as soon as you open the bag it smells like a basket of fresh blueberries is waiting inside. When you pop a few in your mouth you have the familiar, crunch of the almonds we all love with a absolutely delicious blueberry coating. These are seriously great. We all know how good nuts are for a snack when you are on the go. A hike, a bike ride..you name it. Fruit doesn't always survive that well when you are on the go. Now you can enjoy both with one snack pack that you don't have to be afraid to put in your backpack. I was also sent a voucher for 1 free Muller Yogurt Product. We all know yogurt is good for you and tastes great, too. What's not to love?

My second favorite product from the GoVoxBox is this Aqua Spa Relax Body Creme. It smells so heavenly. Whoever decided to combine lavender and chamomile into a thick, creamy body lotion is genius. I'm actually wearing it right this moment. It is the kind that stays on for hours, too.

You all know how I feel about yoga. And If you read this post  than you know how vital it is to keep moving during your "gift" of the month. In Peru, they call your period "tu regla" which means your gift. I also heard a thing or two about women being sent to special moon lodges when they are on their period because the female cycle coincided with the moon cycle. So, women were considered to be very powerful during their gift because they were so in tuned with nature. I don't know all the details, and I'm sure my friend Bridget could write an entire guest post on the topic that would change your perspective on your gift, but that is for another day. Anywho, they sent me some Playtex Sport Fresh Balance tampons with my last box and this box. I have to say, they are so so much better than the generic kind. I don't want to get into gory details here but there are a few things in life you shouldn't skimp on: Qtips, coffee and tampons. Go for the name brand here, people. I promise your yoga poses will thank you!

And last but not least, my favorite part of this VoxBox, The NextStep Jaxx Protein Shaker and three Next Step Fit n' Full Shake mixes. I love the protein shaker, I love the Jaxx shaker part, I love love the meal replacement mixes. I just love it all. The protein shaker is purple, has a handle and is the perfect size for me. The meal mixes are delicious. I had a Berry flavor, chocolate and french vanilla. The berry flavor reminded me of the berries and cream oatmeal packets in the best way. Not only were they tasty, but they kept me full until lunch even through my workouts. 

Overall, The GoVoxBox was perfect for me, and I imagine would be perfect for anyone with an active lifestyle. I'd also like to say how good it feels to be considered someone with an active enough life to qualify for a exercise/health themed box of goodies. I've come a long way folks, and now I'm running longer and stretching my body further than I ever have before. My best friend even told me that I'm "developing muscle tone in my arms" which made me laugh out loud.
